Song of the Butterfly
Song of the Butterfly
On silver wings she flutters about, as a shimmering powder scatters onto the grassy earth below. A melody exuded from her tiny body as she batted her paper-thin wings, and the light and soft notes bounced in the spring air.
It is a peaceful song, one which brings tears to your eyes when you hear it--not crocodile happiness tears, but salty droplets of sadness. Soprano blended with alto rings in your deaf ears, and you wish, more than anything else, to hear it resound throughout your silent world.
You long to listen to the sorrowful song of the beautiful butterfly...

I might end up forgetting everything, but that doesn't mean none of it was important. The time I spent with you, both as Yuki and as Haru, is as precious to me as my own existence. I'm grateful that I was able to be with you for so long.
I might forget about these past six months after tonight, but that doesn't mean all of it never happened. It was during this time that I fell in love with you, and I will never forget these feelings of love which I now have for you.
I might forget everything, but my heart will remember, so you don't have to worry. I will always love you.

I think I'm about to be lured out, and I do something about it;

It's great to be the narrator again, but here's one thing that isn't great: Flannery. She will not shut up about Power and Amy, and she keeps talking about some girl who saved Amy and sent Power away for a while. It's not until today, the 25th, four full days after that school was set on fire by Power, that she'll finally pick a different topic of interest. I know this because
Monday's the audition for Romeo and Juliet ~mya! Yes, that. And she exclaims this the second she sees us at our table in the cafeteria, and we turn to face her, a shocked but pleased look visible on our faces. (Here, 'us' and 'we' refer to May and I. Neil

What's their problem? Misa asks me, speaking spiritually. Weren't they talking animatedly to each other less than a minute ago?
I nod my head in response to Misa's words. Very true ~mya, I agree, looking towards the sisters. Both of them are still in the same positions, but now their eyes are fixated on the exit of the bus.
Looking out of my seat's window, I realize that their stop is next.
May, picking up her only bag, looks at me to say, You can come to the forest with me tonight to train if you want to, but Aurora won't be there ~nyo. Before I can ask why not, she explains, She's
