Summer vacation is now in full swing!
I sincerely hope that everyone has been having an awesome summer vacation so far. I've been online almost every day since my vacation started (June 6th), even though I haven't been posting any new deviations or journal entries, but that's because I'm working on revising the first two chapters of my first anime-style story EVER, and I really want to finish the 22 chapters in that story (plus the Epilogue; there was no Prologue for this one) before starting on another one. So, please, have patience with me if you actually like my stories, because I'm working on a really good one right now, and it'll take quite a while for me to finish all of it. But I promise that, by the time it's all been typed out and revised to a perfect perspective, it'll be one of the best series that I've ever created--if not THE best.
As far as my away status is concerned, I'm currantly staying at the Hometown Suites in Clearwater, Florida. We're here because my dad has meetings to go to down here, and we'll be here for the next two days, before we go down south a little further to stay in Orlando until Sunday. (We get free internet here, which is why I'm able to be on DeviantART right now, but you have to pay for internet at the Orlando hotel, so I won't be able to come online Friday through Sunday.) We're going to shop at the Orlando Mall on Friday, and we'll be playing at Epcot on Saturday. I'm hoping to find some interesting foreign items at both locations, because that IS what both of them are specialized in, and I'll be sure to tell you guys what I end up buying when I get back home on Sunday night--that is, of course, if I buy anything at all.
I've also recently gotten into several relatively new animes: Shakugan no Shana, Elfen Lied, Shugo Chara!, Gakuen Alice, Kamichama Karin (I was already into the manga, and discovered the anime), not-so-recently Death Note and Code Geass, and I rewatched Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei when I found out that there's actually a second season. I guess you could say that anime's been keeping me busy for a lot of the summer vacation so far, but I actually got into every single one of them through a chain of events; Shakugan no Shana because KOTOKO sings some of the songs, Elfen Lied because Yuki Matsuoka (Tsuruya from TMOHS) voices as a character, Shugo Chara! because it has many of my favorite seiyū in in... That's what happens when I'm bored and have free access to Wikipedia.
And finally, the last part of this journal entry: today is my birthday! I'm now officially 14 years old, and in time for high school too. xD But what surprises me (and my family) the most is that there's not really anything materialistic that I want for my birthday this year, so I just asked for money in the form of checks or something else so that I could save it up to buy a car or something at some point in the near future. I bet they're giving me another cookie cake this year as well, which means I'll have to eat half of it and nearly get sick from doing so, because for some reason I can't seem to eat a large mass of chocolate without feeling sick for a while afterwards. =/ Oh well, at least it'll taste good, even if it makes me sick after I eat it.
